Like a business CEO, you must become the CEO of your kidney health.  The responsibility for making vital decisions and managing daily operations is yours. Taking control of your health goals and objectives is your role, not your doctor’s. Your doctor’s role, while crucial, is to diagnose, provide essential medical care, offer preventative services and treatment options, educate, and give guidance. 

MAKE A HEALTH PLAN

A health plan is essential to managing your healthcare journey like a boss. It outlines your health journey’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives and the strategies and tactics for achieving them. A well-crafted health plan is an invaluable tool that helps you identify potential problems, track your progress, and develop sound strategies for success. It also serves as a roadmap to guide you on your holistic kidney journey.

A health vision statement outlines your goals and how you will achieve them in your healing journey. It lays out your overall health goals and objectives.

Your health mission statement explains your why and serves as a reminder of why you want to heal. What is your motivating reason for wanting to heal?
